Mass air flow sensor problems2/14/2023 ![]() They changed it (cost me $260.part is $60-$80 at parts store and already had $150 diagnostic fee so I told them to go ahead and do it) and the car ran like new. Turned out to be the mass air flow sensor. ![]() I took it to a dealer and they checked the cats.said they were really good. It really acted like a plugged cat and would have been under warranty. Thought it could be cats but there was no check engine light or code being thrown so I could not diagnose with OBD II. Had a problem about 7000 miles ago where the transmission would shift funny and the car was severely underpowered (noticed in lower gears) especially going uphill and terrible gas mileage.
